NADIA FRISTIKA ROMADHONA

Director of Education
Nadia is the Director of Education and lead instructor at BasaBasa Learning Centre. A graduate of Universitas Gadjah Mada and a certified BIPA educator, she has been teaching Bahasa Indonesia since 2016 with a mission to make the language accessible, engaging, and culturally rich for learners from around the world. With her background in learning multiple foreign languages, Nadia brings a deep understanding of the language journey, its challenges, its joys, and the human connections it can create. At BasaBasa, Nadia combines linguistic expertise with creative and interactive teaching methods that extend beyond the classroom. Her goal is not just to teach grammar and vocabulary, but to build confidence, curiosity, and cultural connection. For her, BasaBasa is more than just a learning centre, it’s a welcoming space where students and TimBasa grow, connect, and explore the world through language, one word at a time.

RAISSA SUBHAN

Learning and Development
Raissa is a staff of the Learning and Development division at the BasaBasa Learning Centre. With a background in language and literature at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, she is experienced in developing innovative and effective teaching materials, and is particularly interested in learning the Indonesian language and culture for foreign speakers. She believes that the language learning process is not merely a transfer of knowledge, but also relates to the deep cultural underpinnings of a language.At BasaBasa, Raissa combines Bahasa Indonesia and foreign language skills with the curriculum to create materials such as escalations, presentations, and quizzes to produce relevant output for students at the BIPA level. In addition to creating the required materials, Raissa also participates in the development of materials and programs taught in BIPA. Raissa's goal is not only to create relevant materials but also to enhance the interest of Indonesian language and culture among foreign speakers through engaging learning materials and programs.
AISYA JIHAN

AISYA JIHAN

Learning and Development
Aisya is a student in Indonesian Language and Literature at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her interests towards spreading the Indonesian culture and language worldwide led her to join BasaBasa as an LnD staff. Sharing a lot of culture-induced information from her works towards the learners is one of her main goals. Aside from her educational background, that goal is also supported by her interest towards other cultures which enriches her knowledge to find similarities between cultures and makes it more relatable. BasaBasa not only became a place for her to contribute to BIPA teaching, but also became a place for her to learn and experience a lot more about it.

INDRARAJA PURBOSATRYO

Website Developer
Indra is the Website Developer and Creative Technology Specialist at BasaBasa Learning Centre. With a strong background in web development, IT support, and visual communication, he leads the development and optimization of the BasaBasa website, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for students and visitors. He also designs educational materials and digital content that reflect BasaBasa’s mission to promote Indonesian language and culture globally. Passionate about both tech and education, Indra blends technical skill with creative thinking to help make BasaBasa a modern, accessible, and culturally rich learning platform.
